The GI Cancers Alliance is honored to share our latest research at the 2025 ASCO Gastrointestinal Cancers Symposium on January 23 – 25 in San Francisco, California. Our two abstracts were accepted for poster presentations and for publication in the Journal of Clinical Oncology.
Abstract 813: Patient-reported outcomes in GI cancer: Leading change to meet the needs of the gastrointestinal cancer community. This research is a follow-up to our 2024 published research: Patient-reported outcomes: The unmet needs of the gastrointestinal cancer community. In our latest 2025 abstract, we discuss our progress and research in meeting identified needs of the GI cancer community through our new programming and campaigns.
Abstract 362: Gastric cancer patient insights: Patient-reported outcomes and real-world perspectives from the gastric cancer patient community. Our research takes an in-depth exploration into the gastric cancer patient experience, including insights from patients in medically underserved communities. Topics include: access and barriers to biomarker testing and clinical trials; shared decision making; mental health and nutrition, among others.
